Welcome! I'm Jane.

I bring a unique perspective to my work at The Abundant Nest. I offer invaluable guidance and support to parents facing the Empty Nest stage of life and share the new purpose that I have discovered since my adult children left home. I'm a wife, Mum of three girls and the fur baby who replaced them. I'm passionate about helping others find purpose in this stage of life. I draw on my experiences of motherhood plus over a decade of teaching and combine my expertise with my life long love affair of crafting.

You'll also discover my new found purpose and love for making felt flowers. I have always crafted. I used to sew skirts, bags household decor and so much more. However, when I started teaching my time disappeared.

Now that I have more time on my hands, I am rediscovering what really lights me up... making things. I love creating, watching something evolve in front of my eyes.
